I can only hope the film is better than the book :(

If the book is the "book of the film", then the film is likely to be better.
Other way around (which it isn't in this case), then results are highly variable.

Having watched lots of clips of the fight scenes in The Raid I & II I've decided to actually watch the full films.
Part way through The Raid:Redemption (2011). Very good. Excellent choreography in the fight scenes :tu:

Was from a time when Stanley Kubrick was considered edgy. Late 60's I think? Early 70's? Watch Clockwork Orange again and see if that still holds up...
