Dongles
« on: 05 February 2020, 12:55: PM »
Looking for a dongle for use in the KT16 0BH neighborhood, any recommendations for either a wired or wifi and a network, seems 5g is a no go so 4g will have to do.

No idea as to which supplier might be best.  If you are on a specific site, try asking others nearby what standard of date reception they are getting as it seems so variable between differen networks.

If you are inside a caravan, consider whether a dongle in the PC is the best option or if you might be better off with some form of MiFi router gadjet that can have an aerial outside.  Yes I know it's a bit more expense, but it may depend on what you are trying to do, and if you have a Mifi you'll be able to run more than one thing without swapping the dongle about - ideal if one minute you want something on a PC, next you are trying to stream to a TV.
