I thought about it but when I next do that I really want to get a new cpu/ram as well. I don't want to do this half arsed. Do it right every 7-8 years
Just rang overclockers to get a RMA and refund. They were fine about it.

You wouldn't be able to swap out just a motherboard and retain the CPU.  CPUs use various sockets so if you bought around 2011 the socket used back then will be completely different to stuff available today.  So it would be a MB, CPU and no doubt RAM upgrade.

This card is stunning, runs everything maxed out at 1440p and stays under 60c and under 45c when I crank the fans.

It's a big old lump and heavy and making me want to go full watercooling again to see how it overclocks.

Yeah but it won't be cheap around £900 for just a simple setup which is out of the question at the moment but it really doesn't need it for a mild overclock if I need to overclock it.
